The Vic Elford / Denny Hulme Porsche 917 leads the Ferrari 512S of Chris Amon / Arturo Merzario during the very wet BOAC 1000km at Brands Hatch in 1970. Although these cars led at the start, they were no match for fiery mexican Pedro Rodriguez driving another 917, who, after a spin, and a pit lane penalty (where he was read the riot act by the clerk of the course), went on to blitz the field and win by five laps!
